All the information that follows applies all of these platforms. 

This one privacy statement applies to any kind of information we collect through these platforms or other means connected to these platforms.

What kind of personal data do we collect?

Your name, preferred contact details, email address. This includes the IP address, the browser you use, and your language settings. There are also situations in which we receive information about you from others or automatically collect other information.

We will not share your personal information with other organisations unless sharing is otherwise required or permitted by law. At any time you may opt out/unsubscribe from receiving any marketing communications from us (including our franchisees) by “opting out” or withdrawing any previous consent provided. If at any time you provide the personal information of another person to us then you must ensure that that person has read and understood this policy and separately consents to that personal information being collected and held by us for the above purposes.

We may disclose your personal information to overseas recipients for purposes such as data management and data processing. It is not practicable to specify the countries those overseas recipients are likely to be located in. For our listing advertisers – we promote and provide our service through all social media channels.  

What security and retention procedures do we put in place to safeguard your personal data?

We observe appropriate and adequate procedures to prevent unauthorised access to, and the misuse of, personal data that we process. 

You always have the right to review the personal data we keep about you. You can request an overview of your personal data by emailing us to the email address stated below. 

We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is protected from risks such as loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet is totally secure, hence any information you send via the internet (including email) is sent at your own risk.

We keep personal information only for as long as the law requires. We take all steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to destroy or de-identify personal information that we no longer need and are not required by law to retain. The measures we undertake may vary with the type of information, and how it is collected and stored.

What kind of personal data do we collect?

Advertisers: email, company address, company name, phone number, location, images, social media links, website link and relevant content information.

Reviewers/consumers: email address, IP address details and full name.  All passwords are private and are generated by the user.

How does Bespoke Spots share your data with third parties?

In certain circumstances, we’ll share your personal data with third parties.  HotelCoach (www.hotelcoach.com.au) and Hotels and Tourism (www.hotelsandtourism.com.au) are both companies owned and operated by Nicky Govender, Founder of Bespoke Spots. There may be instances that you will receive emails from these two companies promoting offers. 

When submitting reviews on the website you have a choice to enter in your contact details.  These contact details my be forwarded to the main contact of the listing you are reviewing. At anytime you may log into your account and remove your contact details or contact us using the emails below.  At anytime, and if you do receive marking material from the listing mentioned you may contact them directly or unsubscribe from their marketing databases.
