ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Nathan has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Sports management at Latrobe University. He has been with City in the Community (CITC) , which is the community branch of Melbourne City Football Club for just under two years. He has ran sessions for a number of other programs for CITC such as Walking Football and “I Speak Football”. In 2020, he joined the City in the Community CALD Carers Physical Activity and Wellbeing program, coordinating online exercise sessions for carers.
The City in the Community CALD Carers Physical Activity and Wellbeing program aims to improve the health and wellbeing of carers across Victoria as they often neglect their own health and needs to look after the loved one that they provide care for. Through facilitated sessions with a City in the Community coach or online resources, the program provides easy access to low impact physical activity. The resources are easily accessible online and have been translated into multiple languages.
The friendly City in the Community team can be contacted and all of their resources can be viewed and downloaded at www.citcarers.com.au
