ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Linda Espie was a carer for her sister Kay. She shares her caring journey in her latest book – Grief a Pilgrimage – which incorporates memories, journal entries, prose and photography – tools which enable her to poignantly reflect on the loss of her much-loved sister and the insights she has gained from grief.
Linda Espie (BA, GradDip SocSc, GradDip HSA, GradD ArtT, AdvDip Gestalt T.) is a loss, grief and bereavement counsellor, educator, supervisor and consultant who has worked in the field of loss and grief for 35 years. Linda is the author of five publications relating to the areas of grief, loss, bereavement and illness. She currently works in Private Practice part time and in counselling and education in a community based Palliative Care service. She previously worked as a counsellor at Carers Victoria.
