ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kaylene has 15 years’ experience within the community Aged Care sector, inclusive of home care package case management, assessor for aged care services at a Commonwealth Home Support Program level, and care management and assessment of Veterans Home Care consumers. Kaylene has also spent some important years “working the floor” in a rurally based residential aged care facility which is where she began her aged care journey.
Kaylene has worked as an advocate within the disability sector, and has numerous tertiary qualifications to support her abilities within the human services field. Kaylene has been affiliated with Elder Rights Advocacy – a member of the Older Person’s Advocacy Network – for close to three years.
